De Starboard UCS V8 Alu Plate is een versterkte aluminium top-plate die dient als verbindingspunt tussen de mast, fuselage en board binnen het Starboard UCS (Universal Connect System). Deze plaat is ontworpen voor maximale stijfheid en minimale speling, wat cruciaal is voor directe krachtoverdracht en optimale controle tijdens het foilen — of het nu wingfoil, windfoil of SUPfoil is.

Dankzij CNC-bewerking levert de plaat een vlak en betrouwbaar oppervlak waar de mast exact aansluit. De montage gebeurt met degelijke bouten en een fillet-radius is toegevoegd voor extra stabiliteit en reductie van spanningspieken. Door deze top-plate toe te passen kun je binnen het UCS-platform upgrades doorvoeren of gaan voor een langere levensduur van je foil-uitrusting zonder de overige componenten te hoeven wisselen.
